TRAXXAS – TRX4 HOW TO SET THE T-LOCK SERVOS
The TRX 4 T-LOCK differential control servos are installed and preset at the factory.
If you need to remove the servos or the servo horns for maintenance or cleaning, carefully note that the orientation when you reinstall them, to make sure the T-LOCK system operates properly.
Power on the transmitter and speed control, and plug the servos into their correct positions on the receiver.
The front T-LOCK servo plugs into the Channel 4 slot and the rear T-LOCK servo plugs into Channel 5.
Operate the T-LOCK switch on the transmitter to test both servos.
Then move the switch to the open position for unlocked front and rear deck.
T-LOCK Switch: T-LOCK
Forward Position – Both Differentials Locked
Middle Position – Front Differential Locked
Rear Position – Both Differentials Open  
For the front T-LOCK servo, install the spring-loaded servo horn so the spring slot is perpendicular to the linkage.
For the rear key lock servo, install the servo horn so the spring slot is parallel to the linkage.
Carefully secure servo horn when installing hardware, and avoid over-tightening screws.
Move the T-LOCK switch to the middle position, confirm that the service output shaft turns counterclockwise to rotate the servo horn as shown, move the switch to the front position to lock the rear differential.
Now the servos are properly oriented for the T-LOCK system to function.
